What is Moadra?
What is Moadra?
Moadra is a sci-fi Metroidvania from Finnish studio Gloomsoft, released on October 22, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. You play Lieutenant Moadra Meras, a Neera elite sent to the quarantined planet Protea VI, where an expedition has gone silent and something has been growing in the dark for 20,000 years.
After losing an arm, Meras is rebuilt with a living biomass prosthetic that absorbs Protoplasm from dead creatures and mutates into new weapons and abilities. Combat is free-aiming with a lock-on option, movement is fast and agile with wall jumps and sprints, and a scanner drone with X-ray vision reveals paths the naked eye cannot see.
